I Love Allerton Road

Local residents, community groups and businesses are working together to hold an “I Love Allerton Road” day on Saturday 15th. June

The Farmer’s Market will be double its normal size and 12 organisations including the Reader Organisation and Allerton in Bloom will be having stalls along the whole of Allerton Road. The Lord Mayor, Cllr Gary Miller will be in attendance at lunchtime and individual shops will be having special offers and encouraging people to come in and browse and buy.

Church Ward Councillors will, as usual, have our open air advice centre in conjunction with the Farmer’s Market as we do every month.

Allerton Road is one of the best shopping streets and is the crown of South Liverpool. There are still first class and independent food retailers and clothes shops which can be combined with a pleasant drink or meal to make Allerton Road a place to visit.

Full details will be posted by next weekend but in the meantime book the date and come and do some shopping and some mingling down Allerton Road way! You can show your support for local business people who live in the area and keep their profit in the area.

If your organisation or business wants to join in contact: louise.hughes@liverpool.gov.uk or Barbara.osborne@liverpool.gov.uk. Any other queries about the day please contact me on 07885 626913 or richard.kemp@liverpool.gov.uk.
